About

Incorporated in 2018 as a nonprofit for educational and social purposes, Bolivar Area Homeschoolers is a collective group of families who banded together under a legally recognized status to continue homeschool enrichment activities. Families involved sought to make sure that they would not incur personal liability while hosting various events, activities, classes, and gatherings, although the essential function of BAH has remained unchanged for many years prior. Currently serving between 50-75 familes per year, Bolivar Area Homeschoolers is managed by a board of director moms who serve as liaisons for the group and head up some activities, although all group members are encouraged to participate in planning, arranging, and sharing the excitement of enrichment for homeschool students. BAH welcomes families of diverse backgrounds; member families include classical homeschoolers, faith-based homeschoolers, secular homeschoolers, unschoolers, traditional and child-led learning families and everything in between. We strive to offer activities and avenues for families to arrange activities to suit a variety of students from preschool through high school.
